Reading, citation & reuse

Using this research

The archive connects explanatory tours, manuscript files and published records. Each serves a different part of reading and citing the work.

Choose the right source

Use a tour to follow an argument or explore an illustration. Use the manuscript for its definitions, hypotheses, theorem statements and proofs. Use the linked publication record for its release details, files and license.

Interactive diagrams identify their illustrative models and scope. A visualization is not a replacement for the source theorem or its stated physical assumptions.

Cite an exact version when the claim depends on it

An all-versions DOI identifies the work across its releases and is useful for discovering the current record. A version-specific DOI identifies a particular archived release. For a quotation, theorem number, numerical value or formalization comparison, record the version you actually consulted.

Include the author, full paper title, publication year and DOI. Add the relevant section, theorem or page when referring to a specific result. A manuscript's preparation date and its later publication date may differ; paper records label them separately where both are available.

Links labelled This archived version open the fixed publication record represented on the page. That record provides its files, version-specific DOI and publication details.

Check the license of the material you want to reuse

Each paper, dataset, image or code repository may have its own license. Consult that item's publication record or repository license before reproducing, adapting or redistributing it, and follow its attribution requirements. A license attached to one paper does not automatically apply to another work or to all website material.

This page does not assign a new blanket license to the collection. Where an item's reuse terms are unclear, contact amos@constraintsystemsinstitute.org with the title, version and intended use.

Report a broken link or record discrepancy

Send the page address and the paper title or DOI to amos@constraintsystemsinstitute.org. For a version discrepancy, identify the file or archived record you consulted so the exact source can be checked.
